In the year 2014, IRICO started an offspring Company at Tiruchirappalli/Trichy in the name of Visveswaraya Industrial Engineering Works (VIEW) supported by Mr. S. Velmurugan and Mr. P.Selvadurai, BARC certified Radiological Safety Officer Level-II. They have an experience of more than one decade and expert in welding inspection.

Our Tiruchirappalli/Trichy branch is headed by Mr. Krishnamoorthy and Mr. V. Murugesan, BARC certified Radiological Safety Officer Level-II, They have an experience of more than one decade.

IRICO has adequate trained auditors to maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS)/ Laboratory Management Systems (LMS) and conduct Internal Audit as per ISO/IEC-17025:2017 & ISO 9001-2015. The team is headed by Mr. Bibhu Prasad Swain, BARC certified Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) Level-II holding the position of Head NDT-Systems. He is a Level-II Certified Person as per SNT-TC-1A, PCN (EN 473/ISO 9712), CSWIP (ISO 9712), ISNT (IS 13805) and Lead Auditor as per ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS), ISO 45001:2018 (OHSMS). Also, he is a certified Internal Auditor as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (LMS) and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt holder.

IRICO has been approved by Competent Authority RSD, AERB is equipped with Cobalt-60 Radiography Enclosures at Chennai, Ranipet, Coimbatore and Tiruchirappalli/Trichy and has the approval of RSD, AERB to operate Linear Accelerator 6 MeV, 100 Ci Cobalt-60, 100 Ci Iridium-192 Isotope and Portable X-Ray upto 300 Kv. at all its laboratories and is equipped to handle castings weighing upto 20 Metric Ton capacity.

IRICO has been approved by Director of Boilers Tamilnadu for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing under Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950 and other external Inspection Agencies like EIL, LRIS, DNV etc. IRICO has also upgraded its facility to carry out LINEAR ACCELERATOR, BETATRON Radiography, TOFD (Time of Flight Diffraction Technique) and PHASED ARRAY Ultrasonic Techniques by PCN qualified Engineers.
